The Origin Of Neverland

I bought my first puppy, Pee Wee Black Jed, from Bev and the late John Wornum of Owen in South Australia.

Previous to the name Neverland, I had chosen the stud prefix, Tudor Vale. I attempted to register that kennel prefix with the S.A. Canine Association and was advised that the name Tudor Vale was currently registered by another kennel. We were advised to submit other names and we would be given a name that was not currently registered. We submitted approximately 8 names and because these dogs were Australian bred, we requested to register the name Never Never Land, but that was also taken. so hence, one Never was taken off and the name Neverland Kennels was born.

I have been involved with the Tenterfield Terrier Club of SA for 11 years. The dogs we presently have all have their own personalities and I am able to know which dog is barking or causing a rumble with the other dogs. They are loving and loyal companions, all competing to woo their owners.

They are low maintenance dogs, intelligent, protective and good with children. We live with our dogs!

We at Neverland are breeding in the Pursuit of Excellence.
